"...Meet the new boss, same as the old boss..."

- "Every country has the government it deserves and in a democracy people get the leaders they deserve."

- Joseph de Maistre

The title words and observation were from the British rock group, the WHO. The visionary thought was from a man who no doubt influenced both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. Going back to our earliest days as a new nation, our first two presidents noticed an unrecognized danger to our nation: political parties. They feared that members of conflicting political parties would make any sacrifice, make any unfounded statement or whatever it takes to win an election. By this action they could at worse put the nation in peril or by their lack of commitment to do what is best for the nation, grid lock the government. Sound familiar?

Flash forward in time. Yesterday, we got the results of an investigation to Hillary Clinton who will be the Democratic nominee for the presidency in 2017. The conclusions leave many doubts about the people in power and a person who could possibly obtain the highest position in power. Mrs. Clinton. The Clinton's have been attacked continuously for years. In many incidents, if it were someone else, nothing would have been made of the situation. The Clinton's face this double standard. The conservative right of the Republican Party recognize that she is the competition. They seek to discredit her or him or both. The democrats do the same to any republican. Both parties use influence to get their spin heard. Sadly, I read a piece by Andy Serwer, yahoo's editor in chief. He was talking about Brexit, but he is a good example of what is wrong in America today. He says, "There is a danger in too much democracy." You see, if the insiders don't get the results that they want, they have to start with doubts about the process. Serwer reminds his readers of the dangers of referendums like in the California property tax revolt. This action grid locked the state with its budget. He forgets that the people are represented and served by the government. This action forced them to do more with less. The proof is California survived. He also failed to mention other referendums within the state like the 72% who voted to end free health care for illegals. Illegals entered California for free medical which was bankrupting the state. First off, when do you get 72% agreeing on anything? In addition, one lawyer and one judge put an injunction on the vote which was in reality, vetoing democracy. He never mentioned that! This leads me to believe that he is biased for the elite. He's got to keep his nice job, pay his mortgage and secure his future. Anyway, the founders would disagree with him. They felt that you had to earn your democracy like the thought in Joseph's quote above. Anyway, back to Hillary. Let's review.

Hillary stated that she never sent or received emails that could be compromised. The findings show she lied.

Hillary stated that she never sent or received classified material via an unofficial channel. The findings show she lied.

Not only did she continually lie about her actions, it was also revealed that her staff violated the same, safe precautions of using proper government channels.

Hillary stated that she never sent or received emails in adverse territories outside the US. The findings show she lied.

Now, I put aside what was sent and received because our government is so full of BS that things that are classified don't mount to a hill of beans. The communications probably were not important at all. Having said that, my personal beliefs also include these thoughts.

It shows a lazy, arrogant person who maybe was seeking to hide records from public scrutiny. Not only that, but she had her staff follow this dangerous president. Then, we have James Comey, head of the F.B.I. Who appointed him? President Obama. It is just like I stated in my unpublished work, "The Evolution of Democracy: The Book of Multiple Ideas and Predictions," all things are connected.

Doesn't Mr. Comey feel a certain gratitude to Obama? Doesn't all those who received a job in the bureau have a connection to that appointment? If Comey is fired, they could lose their jobs. What about their mortgages, family and future? So, what we received is some sought of a compromise to Comey's integrity and alliance to the president.

Ron Hosko

is a former Assistant Director in the F.B.I. He adds his two cents. He says that Comey has a deep integrity and his conclusions just show that he couldn't get a conviction in court. However, Hosko goes on to remind us that Comey considers Clinton's actions as "extremely careless." Hosko then equates this term to gross negligence which the law requires for a conviction. We realize that Comey was trying to be true to himself. In the end he shifted the ball to the public for the coming election.

Now, I'll add this to my thoughts. If Hillary had courage, she would've confessed right from the beginning. She didn't. I could never vote for her. I can't trust the other party because they never do anything for the people. Now, more than ever, we need to ban together to start a new political party...for the people.
