Buffet Gets on the Apple Bandwagon

Is Apple turning the corner?

After seeing some pressure and falling to levels last seen in June 2014, Apple stock is slowly moving higher after it was revealed one billionare is placing a bet on the top tech company.

Based on Berkshire Hathaway's latest SEC filings released Monday, Buffet has taken a 9.8 million share stake in Apple, or $1.07 billion, as of March 31.

But, we can't give all the credit to the famed investors, who has said in the past he "does not understand tech," because it was his partners Todd Combs and Ted Weschler who made the call on Apple.

As reported on CNBC, Apple's stock rose 2% "in premarket trading immediately following the report."

Hathaway also took a stake in tech giant IBM, boosting its shares to 81.2 million shares.
