Let's Talk Gold.

I sit at the coffee shop with my laptop enjoying a hot decaf caramel latte, yep with extra whip creme. The table across from me sits Mrs. Besty a little old white lady with long blonde-gray hair. I didn’t know her name back then but I surely know her now. She was trying to keep me from catching her peeping at my laptop screen. I was playing my 1:56 corporate video. The video showcases our skills as professional miners and will catch anyone’s attention, so I couldn't blame her for seeking a little peek. Finally she got brave and said, “Is that a movie.” No mam, that's our corporate video. “Well it sure look like a movie, so whats that y'all doing,” she asked. Mining, we do mining. “Mining, like digging?” Yes, mam, then I smiled. “Well, I don’t think I know anybody that do that.” Then she turned to another usual customers and ask her did she know a miner. The lady replied no I don’t. Then she turned back to me and said, “what you mining for.” With a brief hesitation (because it always causes people to over react when I say) we mine for gold, diamonds, and such. Her face lit up. The questions kept coming and the more I answered the more I realized that everyone loves and need gold. Everyone wants a safe investment, a valuable respected product. Mrs. Besty is now my friend, though I have been going to that coffee shop for several years its her thats promotes me. She is so proud to tell people that she knows me, she knows an international gold miner. We made a connection and I then realized I had a mission. I must connect the everyday gold buyer directly to us miners. There have been to many middlemen between the two most important people the miner and the citizens.

Gold is one of several minerals thats proven to be a safe and sure investment, but gold has a century old problem. The buyer of gold is so far removed from the miner that the value is often depreciated by brokers and other middlemen. If you buy gold today its probably going to come from a broker, which means it has little to no value, forcing you to hold on to it for years so the value can grow. Why would anyone buy anything made of gold and the value immediately dissipate. Whats the purpose of a mineral? Whats the purpose of the miners who extract those minerals? I believe that that minerals we mine should be used to better the life of the communities from which they were extracted, the people who improve its raw form, the people who extracted them, and the people who buy the finished products. We are international miners with a purpose to ensure our minerals benefit all people. Our gold, our diamonds, our minerals can better your life.

Dr. Raymond Youngblood, Jr. is known as an award winning international gold miner who specializes in extracting minerals from the most extreme situations, the most harsh conditions, and the most hostile environments. He credited being the King of Small Scale and creating the first App (We Get Gold or WEGETGOLD) (Apple, Android, Windows, BlackBerry, and Amazon) that will allow individuals to purchase and collect gold in small amounts.

“When I realized that someday I was going to retire as gold miner I thought, is my minerals building wealth for people, are they improving peoples futures, does it have immediate value. One of the things I absolutely despise about the gold business currently is, when people purchase gold they have to wait for it to regain value, I want to change that. I took it out the ground it has value so why can’t i pass that value on to the buyer.” Connect on Facebook: Raymond Youngblood, Jr., Twitter: @DrYoungblood
